Monster the Loch – Saturday September 6th 2025

A 22.7 mile race the length of Loch Ness, for any ‘human-powered’ craft. There is a swap-over point approximately half way so we could potentially offer this to up to 12 rowers with only one gig. Last year 112 craft took part, 4 of them Cornish Pilot gigs. Finish times ranged from 2 hrs 24 mins to 5 hrs 14 mins (!) The fastest gigs were around 3 hours 35 mins

Costs: Standard entry fees are £95 pp, or £90 if paid by 31 May (includes free T-shirt). Obviously, on top of this would be transport and accommodation costs.
